The pellets are easy to pour into a feeder, and the fat and dried insects provide plenty of energy.<\/p>\n<h2>How to feed<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Start when snow falls and frost sets in, and the birds cannot find food on their own. Do not start too early (recommendations of OTOP, the Polish Society for the Protection of Birds, and GDO\u015a, the General Directorate for Environmental Protection).<\/li>\n<li>Feed regularly, because birds quickly get used to a feeder (OTOP, GDO\u015a).<\/li>\n<li>Put out small portions so that the food does not sit there. Remove mouldy food (GDO\u015a, OTOP).<\/li>\n<li>Place the feeder at least 1.2 m above the ground, away from windows and out of reach of predators (GDO\u015a, OTOP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ingredients and packaging<\/h2>\n<p>Ingredients: sunflower seeds, wheat, sorghum, dari, pea flakes, yellow peas, maize, millet, fat, dried insects.<\/p>\n<p>Weight: 1000 g.<\/p>\n<h2>Questions<\/h2>\n<div class=\"sx-faq\">\n<details>\n<summary>When should you start feeding birds in winter?<\/summary>\n<p>OTOP advises starting in late autumn, when snow falls and frost sets in.
